Rain Gage and Gardening
Improved insertion of sprinklers and pop-ups for more advanced and simpler management of sprinkler irrigation and gardening systems. Devices can be inserted in sequence, allowing you to evaluate the wetted circle and coverage angle before fixing the position.
Range
For sprinklers, pop-ups and sprays, the program will show the range and calculate the correct coverage angle based on the device’s position relative to the terrain edge. The flow rate (for static pop-ups) will depend on the coverage angle.
Range Modification
You can manually modify the range, coverage angle, and angle offset for one or more devices. Once the element is selected from the database, the software will consider, for hydraulic calculation and rain coverage, whether the device has fixed or variable angle, and if it’s static or dynamic.
Coverage Angle
IrriPro, besides modifying the device’s coverage angle based on terrain boundaries, allows maintaining coverage continuity in case of adjacent or nearby edges. As shown in the figure, the wet circles of the sprinklers of the two adjacent sectors are drawn with a full 360° angle unlike the others on the edge.
Rainfall map
The new precipitation map indicates with progressively darker colors the areas with higher rain intensity compared to those with lower intensity. This representation will also show the range calculated based on pressure.
Pressure and Range
The sprinkler range depends on pressure. In the thematic map, besides color, the actual coverage (or circular sector) reached by the device will be shown. The figure compares two areas of the system under different pressures. This way, the overlap of the wetted area and the precipitation intensity will be evident.
Z quota
It is now possible to indicate the height of each network element. Users can specify the pipe depth relative to the terrain surface or the sprinkler height. For example, in a sprinkler irrigation system, the sprinkler risers. The Z height (negative or positive if above or below ground) will be considered in the hydraulic calculation.
Triangular arrangement
It is now possible to choose the new triangular arrangement (QUINCUNX) instead of the rectangular one. Besides defining the number of laterals per row (e.g., double, triple wing, etc.), the arrangement can be triangular starting from even or odd laterals.
CAD import
Improved the CAD file import process. Now many more elements of the DXF file will be imported to a dedicated IrriPro layer, including text, circles, polylines and many other things. This procedure also allows creating a 3D model of the terrain by considering the elevation points and contour lines contained in the imported DXF file.
Legend of diameters
A completely new color legend now allows distinguishing pipe diameters from 16 mm (3/8″) to 710 mm (28″). Colors and diameter ranges can be changed by the user.
